* Our breeding goal is the total package - top health, will to work and good looks, all in the same dog.
But main focus will always - ALWAYS be the health. And not only the health status we can see, but the  one  that in hidden in each dog/bloodline.
Openess and honesty is the frame we build our breeding around, and hope that, is the frame that lasts longes:)

  • We have been owners of Australian Shepherd since 1998.
  • Our prefix "Aussieboxy" has excisted since 1999.
  • Our first Aussie-litter was born in 2003.

Puppies will be:
FCI registrated (NKK)
Parvo vaccination
health checked,
dewormed,
had micro chip implanted,
eyes checked at 6-7 weeks.

The pups grows up indoors and have contact with children, adults and other dogs almost 24 - 7.
All new owners comit them selves to x- ray hips and elbows, and check their eyes on a regulare bacis. Pluss take him/her trough a mental test.

Our filosofi...

I put down much time and effort to find the right animals for my breeding program.. Lots and lots of time is spent to study pedigrees, and their strenght/ weekness.
So far I have only found what I'm looking for outside Norways borders. Eighter by import my self, or travel abroad.
Not only do I look for "the healties bloodline possible" I want the studs temperament to match the females, and it also needs to look like an Aussie!
If there is a mental test I will look closely at it, but that alone is not enough to decide if it's the right stud, but how he deals with lift in general means more to me than test result.
Working merrits in different sports/activities I want atleast one of the dogs to have, the aussie is a working dog after all..
So far only our females have participated in that part, but we hope the future will bring us boys with working merits.
With only 3 litters so far, only time will tell if I am on the right track, but so far it doesn't look too bad:)
I want the pups who carrie the "Aussieboxy" name, to have owners that understand what an Aussie is, and are willing to sacrifice time and work to develop the pups inherited quality as a working dog within all dog sports.

I DO NOT sell pup as coach- dogs only !!

I don`t demand the new owners to be training/competition addicts. (even tho the aussie would loved it!) As long as they are people/ families with above average interests for training their four leged friend. The aussie needs more than a walk around the neigbourhood!
Aussies are herding dogs, and I hope I one day will have the oppertunity to learn how to herd with my dogs, and then put more efford into breeding pups I KNOW has enough herding instinct to work as an allround herder on a farm. Until I know my breeding stock has the right instinct, I can`t guarantee the pups will have enough instinct to be good herders. It`s definitiv one of my goals for the future, however.
